Your Bot Electrocuted Me!

I got this funny story from a subscriber by email…

I thought it was odd at first that Bobcat would send me an ordinary pen.  I thought maybe it would have special ink so I tried to engage it and scribble on a pad of paper.  Nope!   BZZZT!

I totally got pranked by your bot.

Seeds

One of the bot’s subscribers wrote today…

“The bot delivered an unexpected package weeks after I’d stopped getting them – an apricot seed. Now I have apricot, pomegranate, safflower, rose, and pine. I’m going to have to give them a shot and see if the seeds are viable or not. Well…maybe not the pine, since I don’t know the species. I have no use for a tree that could end up being a hundred feet tall.”

About 2% of all the products ordered by the bot are seeds of one kind or another. Not a huge fraction. But still a significant number of seeds going to people who had no intention of planting something before the bot decided to send them some seeds.

Cyber Monday: Ship Dinosaurs

dinosaur-309638_1280

Just for Cyber Monday, we are launching ShipDinosaurs.com with a special offer… as many dinosaurs as you like for $1 each. We worked out a special integration with some suppliers just off Costa Rica and have a great deal with the post office on shipping.

We only have a few of the best sorts of dinosaurs left. The Hatzegopteryxes can be a handful. So head over and make sure your Aunt gets a Stegosaurus in time for Christmas.

If you already have a Bobcat In A Box account and would like to add some dinosaurs, send me an email at alexander@bobcatinabox.com

Item Of The Day: Galaxy Bracelet With Leather Bands

This nifty bracelet was bought by the bot earlier this year for Heather who writes for the blog Shades of Tangerine. She writes “here is one of my very favorite Bobcat deliveries. I would purchase this from a store, and the fact that it was only $1 is pretty freaking awesome.”

Item Of The Day: Glass Holiday Gems

These 10 holiday gems were bought by the bot in March for Heather who writes for the blog Shades of Tangerine. The bot is rather clueless when it comes to the seasons. She writes “Look at the cuteness on these teeny tiny gems.  Everything about them is adorable.I don’t know what purpose they will serve yet, but they are too charming to overlook.” Now that they are in season, I am sure she will find a  use for them.
